Harbour lights is a four bedroom fisherman’s cottage overlooking Craster Harbour. The newly refurbished house has been fitted especially to provide luxurious holiday accommodation and to make the most of the fabulous location.
The luxurious cottage has stunning views of the harbour, sea and Dunstanburgh Castle and is fitted out to 5 Star Gold standards
The three storey cottage has a large open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room with stunning views, a second lounge/reading/games room 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a downstairs w/c. There is a garage which can be used to store bikes
The well equipped kitchen has huge, floor to ceiling windows on two walls an includes an American style fridge freezer with ice maker & filtered water, microwave oven, double Neff oven and grill and coffee machine.
There is a large oak dining table, seating 8 people and the lounge has a log burning stove, 42” flat screen TV & smart blu-ray player.
The second lounge has another 42” smart TV and games console (Nintendo Wii) and of course, more great views.
The house comes with free wifi and complementary Netflix in both lounges.
On the first floor you’ll find a king size room with sea views, juliet balcony, and ensuite shower room, as well as a twin room with countryside views and ensuite shower.
On the second floor there is a family bathroom, a further king size bedroom with country views and the cabin room, with its built in adult size bunk beds and sea views (this is a real favorite with kids).
A small rear garden off the kitchen has sea, castle & harbour views with a decked area and a small sheltered seating area as well as BBQ, fire pit and outdoor dining for 8 people.
There is a seating area at the front door, private parking for up to 4 small cars and a further half an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens with a small stream. It should be noted that there is a little known and un-signposted public right of way across the garden, which was traditionally used by the lifeboat crew and local fisherman. It does not affect the privacy of the house.
The excellent Jolly Fisherman gastro pub is just yards away, as it the world famous Robson’s Smoke House and the Shoreline Cafe.
The start of one of the top coastal walks in Britain is just yards away from the front door.
